Congratulations to our Hardware Hank “Nuts & Bolts” Athletes of the Week: Jakob Bradsteen, senior, Ottertail Central baseball and Lilly Johnson, senior, Benilde-St. Margaret’s softball.

Name: Jakob Bradsteen

Sport: Baseball

School: Ottertail Central

Information: Jakob has been doing well with wins. During three OTC wins in the last half of May, the senior went 5-for-9 from the plate with three runs scored in addition to three RBI. Bradsteen has also pitched in four games this year, all Bulldog wins, in which he earned one win and one save.

Name: Lilly Johnson

Position: P

Sport: Softball

Year: Senior

School: Benilde-St. Margaret’s

Information: Lilly has been a monster on the mound. After recovering from a hand injury, she came back to lead her team to their first-ever state tournament. She pitched a shutout against Orono in the section finals while going 2-for-4 from the plate with two runs scored.
