Spuds bury Green Wave

Moorhead's Jacob Uglem ended a 20 minute scoreless streak to start the game as the Spuds beat East Grand Forks, 6-0.
Uglem rifled a slap shot from the right point, beating Hunter Aubol to give Moorhead a 1-0 lead early in the second period.
East Grand Forks kept things close for the remainder of the second period until Jesse Doschadis took a pass from Zach Quaife to net the Spuds' second goal at 13:20. Despite dominating play for most of the second period, Moorhead led EGF only 2-0 after two.
The third period belonged entirely to the Spuds who scored four goals as the Green Wave took two penalties in the final frame. Doschadis tallied his second goal of the game at 3:20 of the third. Logan Ness, Tony Uglem and Bryant Christian added goals as well as the No. 8 (2A) ranked Spuds topped the No. 5 (1A) Green Wave.
